As an experienced primary school teacher, qualified baby, children and teen yoga teacher and experienced mindfulness instructor. I am very passionate about improving children's well being and mental health.

YogaDabbaDoo aims to offers a wide range of support to parents, nurseries, schools and individuals.

YogaDabbaDoo offers support through

  • Wellbeing workshops for all educational settings

Baby Massage (newborn to pre crawling)

YogaDabbaDoo uses a unique blend of breathing techniques, yoga games, and relaxation time throughout the classes. Each class is engaging and encourages children to nurture their minds and bodies to be healthy.

This is a fun relaxed class where yoga is introduced through games and stories, the inclusive class is enjoyed by everyone. Once your child is settled in the class please feel able to leave. 
 

What to expect:

Each weekly session covers new massage strokes and recaps the previous weeks learning, you will also learn some songs to go with the massage movements and some time to have catch up with all the other parents in the group. The classes are for babies from newborn to pre crawling.  

The session is led on the floor so please wear clothing you will be comfortable sitting down. We also recommend bringing a towel for your baby to lie on and a little toy to distract them or for you to gain attention. 
We will provide all the mats and you will be given your own bottle of organic sunflower oil to use.

💜Week 1 - 3rd March 
Leg and stomach massage

💜Week 2 - 10th March - Chest and arms massage with a recap on stomach and legs

💜Week 3 - 24th March - Back and shoulder massage with a recap on all previous strockes

💜Week 4 - 31st March - Whole body and face massage.

 

Upon completion of our course you will be given a certificate and also all the massage strokes in handouts so you can continue to practice at home.

 

The benefits of baby massage:

Regular baby massage helps aid relaxation and sleep, relieves constipation and colic, promotes healthy development and can boost the immune system. Yoga Dabba Doo baby massage course is a wonderful way to connect and have fun with your baby.

Baby Yoga (4mths plus)

Teen Yoga - this class is suitable for 10 - 15 yrs  

This class will teach:

  • Breathing techniques to help with exam pressure or the stresses of daily life.

  • Different yoga poses to help deal with situations and the emotions faced by teenagers. They will also learn which poses increase focus and concentration and help reconnect your body when you may be feeling a little over whelmed by the different situations posed to teenagers.

  • It ends with a mindfulness and relaxation time when we can soothe and take a break from daily life or homework we will focus on positive affirmations, relaxing techniques such as simple meditation and ways to receive tension and stress.

Pre School Yoga (2 1/2 yrs - 5yrs

This is a fun relaxed class where yoga is introduced through songs, music, stories, the class is enjoyed by everyone.  Parents and carers are welcome to leave once their child is settled or stay to watch/join in the fun.

 

This pre school yoga class is a friendly, gentle movement and relaxation class that enhances their physical and mental development. 
 

What to expect:

During the 45mins long session, you can expect; breathing exercises, songs and rhymes, yoga poses and stretches for both of you, games and even relaxation with a simple introduction into mindfulness!
 

The benefits of children's yoga

Children's yoga is excellent for the child's development, benefits include;

*improved sleep patterns

*relief with any digestive problems

*it helps with anxiety and stress 

*it leads to an increase in body awareness

*it also aids physical development and coordination.

Children's Yoga (4-11yrs)

YogaDabbaDoo uses a unique blend of breathing techniques, yoga games, and relaxation time throughout the classes. Each class is engaging and encourages children to nurture their minds and bodies to be healthy.

This is a fun relaxed class where yoga is introduced through games and stories, the inclusive class is enjoyed by everyone. Once your child is settled in the class please feel able to leave. 
 

What to expect:

During these magical 45minute classes, children grow in independence and confidence, as they participate in themed yoga games and adventures.  The classes are full of smiles and laughter whilst we have fun learning yoga poses and breathing exercises through engaging games, stories and songs.

*Every session is different but each session always starts with a group game and breathing exercise and then ends with a relaxation and some time for mindfulness.

 

The benefits of children's yoga:

Children's yoga is excellent for the child's development, benefits include;

*improved sleep patterns

*it helps with anxiety and stress

*At the end of each block of weeks, children get to showcase their skills.

Teen Yoga (10 - 15yrs)

Teen Yoga - suitable for 11 - 15 yrs

This class will teach:
